Ecofriendly

The tallest bridges of Ukraine surprise us with the scale of their architectural solutions. It is this type of structure that is included in this composition. There is a railway line that links Kherson to the Crimea. It is located behind the village of Antonivka. In this place, there was one of the paths for Chumaks to the Crimea.

History of creation

The idea of building a construction here arose in the mid-30s of the 19th century. Later, preparatory work began. The construction was continued by the German engineers during the occupation of the city. The archive photos and videos of 1943 were preserved. In eight months, the bridge composition was ready, but later, it was blown up.

Bridge

The construction of the present structure began after the war. It lasted 5 years and was completed in 1954. You can admire the stunning view of the city when you cross this bridge by train. Here you can get beautiful photos against the backdrop of unique constructions that give you the impression of lightness. For Khersonians, this is certainty the most beautiful bridge in Ukraine.
