Hot spring is located in the narrowest place of the spit Arabatska Strilka. The beach zone of the Azov Sea and Syvash Lake are close to each other that`s why there is combination of sea, thermal, and mud baths. It is worth mentioning the locality is unique. Moreover, there is a special mineralization of water and mud for the Azov region. Due to geological and hydrological properties of the territory you can experience recreation which is almost impossible in the other Azov parts.

Infrastructure and plans for development

The resort was opened on August 20, 2020 but the idea of its founding dates from 2010. At your disposal you have:

• 3 pools with hot and cold water;
• bathhouses;
• cascaded shower;
• lounge zone where you can bask in the sun on chez-longs or hide from it under the sun-awnings;
• alley to the Syvash.

Moreover there is a Glycerin lake in the vicinity and in a little while there will be 2 salt lakes available.

Besides, the long-term project of a SPA-center construction is planned which includes a balneary where treatment will be conducted under the supervision of medical staff. The plan calls for building a hotel, mini-stadium, water-pools, tennis court. According to the project, the lounge zone will stretch to the Syvash bay.

Visit Arabatski Termy since the price for such treatment is rather modest compared to the one of similar European resorts.

• 08:00–19:00 – 100 UAH / person;
• 19:00–23:00 – 200 UAH / person.

Children under 12 are allowed free of charge. From 19:00 to 23:00 tourists can enjoy music and movies.

Car owners are provided with parking slots for 20 UAH per a vehicle.

Curative properties of the spring

Highly mineralized water comes from the depth of 1565 m. According to the data of Ukrainian Science and Research Institute  of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology of Ministry of Health of Ukraine (the city of Odessa) the iodine-and-bromine geyser possesses curative properties due to the minerals and oil. It is worth mentioning that properties of the geyser favourably influence people with locomotor disorders, endocrine disorders, nervous system disorders and dermatological diseases. Water temperature in the spring at the exit of the well reaches 75°C.

Also, there is an opportunity for tourists to experience blue clay advantages which is rich in potassium, ferrum, sodium, argentum, calcium.

You can address the doctor who is always on the territory in case you have some problems. It is not recommended dousing yourself if you have headaches, chronic diseases of cardiovascular system, open dermatites, high blood pressure.

For Your Attention! One spa-session for an adult shouldn`t exceed 15-20 minutes. Usually several such sessions contribute to the considerable health improvements.

What to do

The thermal spring is open throughout a year that`s why its doors are open for tourists not only at a heat wave but also at severe cold spell. At the disposal of tourists there is a cascaded shower; while taking such shower all muscles relax thanks to the mechanical water influence.

Not far from the place there is a salt lake Syvash which is famous for many health benefits. Also, one more fact is important – the Azov Sea is located close enough which is good news for the tourists preferring beach vacations. Besides, you should visit Glycerin Lake, water of which well moistens skin, Solene Lake, Pink Lake and Ziablovske Lake. Their waters contain large amount of highly-valued microelements and minerals and curative blue and black clay underlie at the bottom. Tourist can visit all lakes any season.

In summer season you can find quit more opportunities to spend enjoyable time. In 30 km from the hot baths there is “Aqualand” water park (Henicheskaia Horka) where waterslides entertainment awaits for tourists.

Active sport enthusiasts can try hand in sailing at school “Extreemarine Club” (close to “Mandarin” guesthouse) where they will be taught windsurfing, kite surfing, regular surfing and test themselves at the ride on ATVs as well as play paintball. If you prefer more tranquil entertainment, kayaking is the best option (“Na More kayak center”, Henichesk)

Where is the thermal spring located

The resort “ Arabatski Termy'' is located in the narrowest place of the spit Arabatska Strilka in the vicinity of Strilkove village at Dachnaia str, 1-A. The village is northward of the spit Arabatska Strilka; it is washed by the Syvash bay from the west and there are beaches on the cost of the Azov Sea eastward. The distance to Henischesk is 28 km, the one to Kyiv is 573 km.

How to get

You can get to the thermal springs “Arabatski Termy” by several means.

Public transport (bus): from Henichesk, Henhirka, Schastlivtseve. By personal car: going from Kherson (road E97) you follow M14 and head to the road fork. There you turn to the right and go to the direction of Henichesk (road P47). You shouldn`t go into the city. Go to Strilkove along Azovskaia str. Having passed the settlement 2.5 km more, you will see the Glycerin Lake with the Chapel which is the main landmark.  The main entrance to the hot spring will be seen from the right side of the road.

Accomodation

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no place to stay, but soon the hotel will be built. We recommend looking for accommodation in the vicinity of the spring or in Strilkove, Schastlyvtseve, Henichesk, Henicheska Hirka which are located quite close to the hot spring:
